Position Overview

Alleato Group is a growing commercial design-build general contractor looking for a motivated Field Engineer to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents while building a long-term career in commercial construction.

Core Responsibilities

Your role will consist of the following:

  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents on commercial construction projects.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and jobsite logistics.
  • Assist with RFIs, inspections, safety meetings, and project documentation.
  • Maintain project drawings, schedules, and daily reports.
  • Assist with quality control, punch lists, and project closeout.
  • Support estimating, material takeoffs, and field changes.
  • Help coordinate subcontractors and communicate with project teams.
  • Travel to local commercial project sites throughout Pennsylvania and other states (if needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of commercial construction experience or internship/co-op with a commercial general contractor.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
